It's made with our highest performing waterproof, windproof fabric, that's had all the seams taped on the inside to keep out every drop, and for good measure, it's also got a water-repellent coating that makes raindrops bead off. You won't find it clammy to wear as it's also breathable with a soft mesh lining in the body and a silky soft taffeta in the sleeves so your arms glide in and out easily. When the rain is coming down in stair-rods, as it often does here in Yorkshire where they design all their clothing, you can fold out the hood, shape the wire around your face and tighten the toggles.
